March Town CC

The Avenue Sports Ground is home to March Town Cricket Club and a number of other local sporting organisations.

The club, who won the Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Premier Cricket League in 2005 and 2007,  fields 10 teams, including three juniors, plus a girls and ladies XI.

Cambridgeshire County Cricket Club have used the facilities to host Minor Counties cricket for many years - including past cup ties against the likes of Derbyshire, Hampshire, Kent, Northants, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire.

The March Squash Club & Racket Ball Club is situated next to the pavilion and the March Bowls Club boast two quality greens at The Avenue end of the ground.

The club pavilion and bar is open throughout the year, and during the winter months is home to March Town Hockey Club.

Junior football is now played on the outfield during the winter by both boys and girls junior sides.
